I've been reading the Family Fun magazine for years now.  It's a good resource for fun and crafty kid/family
ideas.  Many months ago (twelve??) I submitted an idea for outdoor fun.

Last Friday I was contacted to say that my idea is in the September 2013 issue that would hit newsstands in about a week.  Before the end of the weekend I was able to see my name and the idea in print!  (I think subscriptions arrive sooner.)

Though I may not be a published author, at least an idea of mine was worthy of publishing!
