A while back I was at a book sale and came across a book that I read years ago.  When I brought it home, my husband questioned why I bought it since we already have it on our shelf.  Reader, I bought it for you.

With Easter just past, maybe you are wondering about Jesus' claim that He is God and the Son of God.  Lee Strobel was a spiritual skeptic.  When his wife became a Christian, he used his knowledge to investigate Jesus Christ.  He shares his journey in The Case for Christ.

"Eventually I wanted to get to the bottom of what was prompting these subtle but significant shifts in my wife's attitudes, so I launched an all-out investigation into the facts surrounding the case for Christianity.

"Setting aside my self-interest and prejudices as best I could, I read books, interviewed experts, asked questions, analyzed history, explored archaeology, studied ancient literature, and for the first time in my life picked apart the Bible verse by verse.

I have not read this recently, but remember it being good for discussion, well-researched, and a fairly easy read.  If you have questions about the evidence to back up the Bible as to the claims of Jesus, you should read this.  Or maybe you know someone else who will benefit from it.  Or maybe you want to beef up your understanding so you can share better with others.  I think it might benefit many people, so I have a giveaway for you of The Case for Christ.
